KITTENS! KITTENS!
All HELP kittens are Feluk tested. They have received age appropriate vaccinations.  They have been dewormed and spayed/neutered.  We can tell you their good and bad habits.  We will tell you!  We are looking for a lifetime commitment to these cats/kittens so we look for a good match.  The adoption donation is $90.00 which includes all the above, or if you are looking for a pair, we have a special adoption fee of $150.00 for the pair.  .
Want to make a big difference?  We have special needs cats here.  They will bring you much love and joy if you give them the chance they need.  Many of them only need patience to allow them to trust.

Is this is a little cutie pie or what?  Millie was born outside and rescued at about 5 wks old.  She is so adorable and tiny, she is the tiniest one of her litter.  She loves to romp and stomp like all kittens do.  She would do best with another sibling or where she would have another feline friend in her new family.  She would be lonely as an only.  Millie, girl, born approx 4/09.

Wow, are those eye captivating or what?  Madison was such a good subject to photograph.  She is a tad, tiny, itsy bit scared at first when she meets you but it only takes a second before she is fine with everything.  She was rescued at about 5 wks old from being born outside.  She would do best with another sibling or where she would have another feline friend in her new family. Madison, girl, born approx 4/09.

Sweet boy Cat Man Do was rescued as an older kitten, he is sometimes cautious of those he doesnt know, but he warms up quickly.  He went out to a home where they travel out of town each weekend and just couldnt adjust to the traveling, so he came back to the shelter.  He is super sweet and affectionate once you start petting him.  He gets along great with other cats & kittens and has even been introduced to dogs and puppies.  CatManDo,  boy, born approx 1/09.

Sweet Cagney is a bit frantic, he was rescued as a bit older kitten and just is not sure who he can trust, so it takes him a bit.  He will hiss at first but its like its a knee jerk reaction because he will then just lean into your hand for affection and attention.  He gets along great with other cats and has even hung out with some puppies and dogs!  Cagney, boy, born approx 1/09.

Little Felina was found in a trailer park, she was not only looking for food but also for attention.  She is super loving and would really love to just sit in your lap and soak up some attention.  She gets along great with other cats and has been introduced to dogs and puppies and does well.  She is super laid back and doesnt let too much affect her!  She would love to find a lap to call her own.  Felina, girl, born approx 1/09.

One Saturday morning a woman and her child came to the shelter door with a carrier in hand.  Little Cherub was in the carrier.  The woman and child said that they spotted the carrier in a parking lot and picked it up to find this little kitten in there.  We suspect from the actions of the woman, that this was, in fact, their kitten.  Cherub was missing fur on both sides of her body, we suspect a result of poor nutrition.  We squeezed Cherub in, although it wasnt easy as the shelter was extremely full.  Little Cherub is now ready to go.  She is independent but yet affectionate and loving when she has time from her busy day of playing :-)  Cherub, girl, born approx 10/08

Daphne was born to a mama cat that wandered up to a family's home, they could not afford to keep them, but didnt want to see them carted off by Animal Control, so they tried their best to care for them, but money was tight and they were not able to feed them much.  They finally found us and asked for help.  We were so sad to see such skinny cats and kittens but knew the family was trying their best.  We got the cats and kittens into our care and they are normal weights now and ready for a family.  Daphne was the smallest of the 5 kittens, it appeared that what food was given, she didnt get much.  But she is a tough torti girl and made it to us for help.  She is a typical kitten, loving to romp and stomp and investigate!  She sometimes gets growly at other cats when food is involved, but who could blame this little survivor!  Daphne, girl, born approx 12/08.

Summer was dumped in our parking lot and was extremely sick, in fact, we were unsure we would be able to save her.  But one of the volunteers took her home and gave her lots of TLC and she is now healthy as can be.  She is, however, a bit shy and would need someone to give her a little time to trust.  But just look at that doll baby(!), isnt she worth it?  Summer, Russian Blue, girl, born approx 6/08

Mikey is a red headed onery Opie type!  He is full of life and love and when he is ready for affection, he will soak it up like there is no tomorrow!  He purrs like an engine and gives affection as much as he likes receiving it.  He is a tad onery though if letft alone to his own vices.  He needs another kitty in his family that loves to romp and stomp like him, then that should occupy his time.  He is VERY entertaining!  Mikey, boy, born approx 06/08

Chance came to us barely alive, he was just a skeleton with fur.  You could see in his eyes that he had given up.  We believe that he was just a short time from death.  He didnt really have the strength to eat dry food and barely nibble on canned.  So we hand fed him until he began to eat on his own and each day we watched him get stronger and stronger and the will to live return.  He is a bit timid at first but who could blame him, he has been through so much in his young life.  Chance, boy,  born approx 08/08
